Spoiled Child of Mine

Just a couple of pictures of us from a few days ago before we went out to the park. I just noticed the first picture, my face looks lighter and then the second one it looks dark.

The reality of being a SAHM is really starting to kick in with all the mess in my apartment and RC getting more and more spoiled each day. A mom needs a lot of patience, I only have one kid and she can tear the house down in a few minutes. She's very tricky too, she knows that whatever she does, all she has to do is give me a kiss and mommy is not mad anymore.

I hope everyone had a great Wednesday! Thanks for the continued clicks and visits on my blog. I just reached 200 likes in Facebook, hooray!

Light Bulb Trivia (Bulb America Review)

All of us use light bulbs in our everyday lives. Since the invention of the light bulb in the 1800’s, we’ve been able to light up the night more easily. Prior to light bulbs people were using candles and oil lamps to provide light at night. Today, there are thousands of uses for light bulbs, in everything from flash lights to light houses.

The two types of light bulbs which provide the most light for their size are halogen lights and xenon bulbs, which have lots of uses, and are becoming widely used in cars and outdoor settings. Whether you need to replace a bulb in your projector or your swimming pool, you might want to check out BulbAmerica.com.

They have a huge variety of light bulbs for any kind of application you can think of. They also carry a full range of accessories like cables, fuses, power cords, wall switches and many others. They have a toll-free number and can also provide service in Spanish if needed. Their website is very user friendly and they offer FREE shipping on orders over $100 in the continental US. So, no matter what your lighting requirements are, they should be on your list of light bulb vendors.

Designer Liners Review (Dress the Mess) + Giveaway! (CLOSED)

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

I got a package of designer liners, 12 pieces a few days ago. I was glad to see the plaid design and the color green. We have one small trash can in our living room so as you can see, the liner is a bit bigger to fit our trash can. I am inspired to buy a bigger one so I can use more of them, with RC continuously making a mess with her snacks and me staying home and crafting, we need a bigger one anyway. For most women, these liners are a way to decorate your home. Your garbage will fit in your nice house perfectly but it has other great features.

Features:

A.) You can select the design and color of your choice
B.) Biodegradable
C.) Disposable
D.) Reusable (If you do not want to reuse your trash liner, I do understand, I'm a little skeptical about this too. I guess it depends on what type of trash we have.)

Definitely an eco-friendly product! Now we can start “dressing the mess” with designer liners.

One of my readers will also win this fabulous designer trash liners (1 package). The 10th commenter wins, US resident. No duplicate entries please.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

DIY Waist Extender

I'm not pleased with this DIY. The zipper was not copperating so even if I tried to extend the buttons, there will still be an issue with the zipper as you can see in the last picture. My inspiration in making this DIY waist/button extender was seen on TV. One of those enticing infomercials. I made this a few weeks ago and since it did not work, I wasn't thinking of sharing it but well, crafting is either yay or nay and this one is a nay for me!

I hope everyone started the week right! Enjoy the rest of the week.

A Solar Solution for Internet Addicts Like Me

Solar powered battery charger is becoming the one of the latest high-tech devices which allows you to not only use your battery powered devices without an electrical outlet but they also help you reduce pollution caused by batteries being thrown into landfills after the owners no longer want the phones or computers that have become outdated.

Solar powered battery chargers are so convenient. When you use one, you can be assured your cell phone and laptop and other items will always have power. Your batteries won’t die just because you’re away from an electrical outlet for more than a day or two. You can keep everything charged and ready to go. They allow you to always have communication, no matter where you are, as long as you can get internet access via Wi-Fi or your internet provider. You can take long hikes or travel into remote areas and not worry about being stranded if you get lost and your batteries have died on your device.

They are environmentally friendly. If you use a solar powered battery charger you will cut down on the number of batteries being thrown into landfills each year, reducing pollution of the environment. So go green, even with your power sources. Goalzero.com offers solar powered battery charger kits of various sizes and capacity, along with rechargeable batteries and accessories.

I am participating in a blog campaign from Bucks2Blog for a portable solar panel company and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.

Drum Set On A T-shirt

It's that time again for me to share the Coolest Gadgets I found from GeekAlerts.com. This t-shirt literally plays the drum set. There is a video on their website if you want to check about it more. This may not be your type of shirt if you are not musically inclined but I think it's a very unique concept.

Halloween is coming and these are more cool gadgets that you can get. The pack of blood is a shower gel. I'm not sure if you would want to use it, I probably can since I used those orange papaya soaps before especially if it comes in another package.

If you would like Halloween to be for everyone and you have a pet, you can also choose some costumes for them. How cute isn't?

This next one is something that I need because I eat chips a lot. I use those regular clips. This would be good to preserve the freshness and flavor of the chips. This gadget can also be used in some other type of plastic packaging.

This last picture is probably something that women wouldn't really use. It would be good for fun I guess if you are already wearing something on top. I thought it was worth sharing.

I had their blog on my favorites. I am not really a cool gadget type of person but I like looking at their website. They also feature coupons like Dell coupons and Best Buy coupons for those who would like to buy gadgets but want to avail of the best price.

Online Universities

These days people who want to continue their education have many options to choose from. Two of the options are either to attend a traditional brick and mortar school or to get your degree from a school that offers classes online. Online Universities have benefits which can make them a great choice for some learners. The main benefit is that they are convenient. You can sign onto classes any time of the day and post your homework or respond to discussion questions. All of your assignments can be done online. If you inquire about online degree programs in business administration, you’ll find that you can learn everything you would learn from a traditional school, but without the distractions of sports programs or social groups. One of the biggest barriers to going back to school is wondering how to pay for it.

Higher education can be expensive, but financial aid is available for most students. Just go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ and you’ll be instructed on how to apply for financial aid and what your options are for paying for school and supporting yourself while learning.  Check out online schools, they’re not for everyone, but for many they can be a great way to get your education as a working adult.

Please be informed that this post is brought to you by our friends from http://www.findyoureducation.com/. Anybody wants to go back to school? I'm thinking but I know it will be tough if ever because I'm a mom now.

Salmon Cakes

Salmon cakes are easy to make, you can find a lot of recipes online (I just learned). I did not even look for one when I made this. Crab cakes are my inspiration. Just mix the ingredients, cover with bread crumbs and fry.

Ingredients not shown in the first picture- oil, spinach, bread crumbs, salt and pepper

3 Tips to Buying a Home for Sale at a Great Price

This article is written by my husband. Here it goes.

Since we have recently gone through the process to buy two foreclosed Missouri homes for sale, I think it’s great to share the experience on how to buy cheap homes. These are my 3 tips to buying a home for sale at a great price.

First, look through real estate websites. There are many to choose from and you should try to narrow it down to the region you’re interested most in, do a web search with the keywords Kansas City homes for sale or Kansas City real estate. Missouri real estate was not hurt as much by the downfall in housing prices, and the prices of Missouri homes for sale are very reasonable compared with most parts of the country.

Secondly, once you’ve narrowed down your search to one area, then look for distressed properties, which are the foreclosed and short sales. Foreclosed homes have already been repossessed by the lender, and a short sale is a last ditch attempt to sell the home by the owner before the lender forecloses on it. These homes will be offered at lower prices in order to quickly sell them.

Thirdly, be prepared financially to buy the property you decide on during your search. Make sure you have a good credit score. And also make sure you have a large enough down payments stashed away in a bank account, and have the closing costs set aside too. You won’t be able to get a loan without a 20% or higher down payment. And after you’ve bought the distressed property, you’ll probably have to put money into repairs before it’s ready for you or renters. The real estate deals are certainly out there, and it can be fun looking for them.

Blue Sky Scrubs

Probably, in the future, there will a greater need for employment in the medical fields, which include everything from doctors and nurses to lab technicians and aides. As the labor force ages and begins to retire in large numbers, the need for increased medical care will also rise rapidly. One thing that most of the people in the medical industry have in common is the uniforms they wear. Most nurses and aides wear what are commonly called scrubs.

I’m not in the medical field but I like wearing scrubs because they are comfortable. You can use them as pajamas. My scrubs have gotten so small though so I sent them to the Philippines last year. You’ll find a lot of scrub uniforms at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. If you are working in the healthcare industry and are required to wear uniforms to work, give this website a try. They not only have scrubs and lab coats, but also scrub hats, jackets, and accessories. They have styles for both women and men, and even include styles for children who are pretending to be nurses or doctors.

From a Mommy Dress to a Toddler Dress

DIBefore:

After without the straps:
I thought RC looked more mature without straps so I decided to put them from the excess fabric.

 Finished toddler dress (front)

Finished toddler dress (back)
I added a flower to hide some imperfections and I folded the back part where I can easily adjust it in the future so she can use it for a long time. She can probably use it as a top later on.

I decided to stop making those flower clips, making these clothes for RC is my new hobby. A good way to recycle and they don't need to be perfect as usual.

Recover From Bankruptcy

How do I recover from bankruptcy? The answer to that question is not easily answered in a few words, but bankruptcy will definitely have a big impact on your financial future. Immediately after bankruptcy, the debt collectors will still try to collect, but just tell them you’ve gone through bankruptcy and to leave you alone. You can forget about credit cards for a few years, and you’re not going to be able to buy a car or house for a period of time after declaring bankruptcy.

Soon after bankruptcy, you’ll start getting credit card application junk mail, but it will be for credit cards which you have to deposit money into an account before you can use them. You’re just borrowing money from yourself, but if you pay those secured credit cards on time, it will start to improve your damaged credit rating. After a year or so, you’ll start getting normal credit card offers, but when you apply, you’ll quickly find out that they probably will turn you down, or they’ll give you a really low credit limit.

Probably the worst drawback from a bankruptcy is the ability to buy a house with a mortgage loan. You can pretty much forget about it until four years after declaring bankruptcy. But, when more than four years have passed, you’ll find some mortgage companies willing to at least consider you for a loan. These problems with purchasing things on credit will follow you for at least seven years, and maybe as many as ten years. Just hang in there, establish good credit again as quickly as you can, and learn from your experience.

These words are from a person I know that filed bankruptcy seven years ago (edited by me). All are based on his experience and may vary from one person to another.

Guest Post: The Five Most Versatile Outfits for Little Girls

I have a five year old daughter named Isabel who has three passions in life: swimming, having kiddie pool parties, and dressing up (in that order). We live in a Fremont home that has a pool, and our little girl is learning how to swim and already has several bathing suits to her name. As for the dressing up part…well, let’s just say she’s already practicing her independence by choosing her preschool outfits every morning. It’s cute to see her trotting about everyday in her favorite bubblegum pink Barbie tutu coupled with rainbow striped socks and (goodness gracious) my pale pink peep toe heels. This has prompted my husband John to express concern over his little girl being mistaken for a miniature bag lady.

I had to gently explain to Isabel that while her ensemble is nice, it’s considered special- occasion clothing and not for everyday wear. Afterwards, I came up with a list of the five most versatile outfits for Isabel (whom we still consider a toddler because she’s quite small for her age), which we can mix and match with her favorite accessories and footwear on a daily basis.

1. Plain baby tees in as many colors as we can get our hands on Adults love T-shirts for their comfort and versatility, plus the fact that statement tees can get certain bold messages across without us having to utter a single word. In the case of little girls, baby tees are perhaps the best clothes for everyday casual wear because they allow for lots of flexibility. Up until the time that Isabel goes to a big-kids school with a uniform, her daily outfit almost always includes a T-shirt. We love plain ones in different colors or with cartoony designs to go with jeans, shorts, and skirts, but she has currently been enamored with the sparkly shimmering T-shirt trend. We’ve conceded, though the rule of thumb is nothing with huge rhinestones or embellishments which can get caught on things and cause injury…or else make her look like a small Joan Collins circa Dynasty era.

2. Comfortable machine washable bottoms in neutral colors I know what you’re thinking: little girls and neutrals don’t mix. While we acknowledge that being a five year old girl does allow for much frills and frou-frou (and lots of pink), we always think of comfort and flexibility for our active daughter above all else in the clothing department. She loves romping about in her school’s playground, so we have her wear something that can withstand dirt, stain, and possible wear and tear during play time. Neutral colored bottoms are best for pairing with T-shirts no matter what their designs may be. Along with several jeans, Isabel has cotton leggings, shorts, and kiddie slacks that don’t require special care for washing and are made of sturdy fabric.

3. Skirts in an array of designs Even toddlers like being dressed up in frilly clothes to feel like fairy tale princesses once in a while (okay, in the case of Isabel, it’s not so much once in a while as all the time). Aside from the pink Barbie tutu, our daughter’s wardrobe holds skirts in different styles that range from casual to special-occasion designs. When Isabel is feeling particularly feminine on a school day, we allow her to wear a short skirt atop a pair of leggings or tights. The result is adorable yet practical at the same time because she can still move around in her clothes. As an added bonus, little girls can get away with wearing the poufiest skirts with T-shirts and not make it to any Worst Dressed list (if I were only so lucky!).

4. Frocks and dresses appropriate for casual to semi-formal occasions A definite nod to girlhood, dresses and frocks always make it to the versatility list even if they are sometimes a pain to clean (especially velvet, which I do not like at all but which older relatives insist on giving Isabel). I always aim to buy dresses that have classic designs and are adaptable for casual to semi-formal occasions with just a bit of accessorizing. Our goal when shopping is to go for stylish but not ostentatious, and definitely age-appropriate dresses. Simple floral prints or subdued patterns that look good with cardigans or tights are what I particularly like for my daughter. Knit shirt dresses are also cute and timeless as well as comfy.

5. Playsuits made with stretchy fabric Playsuits are one-piece clothes for kids made of stretchy fabric and are sometimes called rompers. I consider them the toddler version of the onesies, which I also found cute on Isabel when she was younger. We have several playsuit pieces for her which button at the front. They are great for active play times and are durable enough to be washed over and over.

Comfortably stylish with a classic look and feel is what we want for our daughter, and we found it with the top five outfits we’ve listed above. Now, my husband has little to no apprehension about what his daughter will be wearing to school in the morning…until she hits puberty, that is.

Free Foreclosure Search

In the past couple of years, the US real estate market has dropped drastically in some parts of the country, mainly in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida and Michigan. Those states saw the biggest increase in home prices before the fall, so they are the markets were affected the most with the rampant speculation that was ongoing at the time. Since the real estate bubble burst, the flood of foreclosed homes on the market has been monumental. There are millions of foreclosures on the market and millions more waiting to foreclose. So, you may wonder how you can prosper from the situation.

If you have some free cash and a good credit history, you can still get a loan to buy a foreclosure, but the loan requirements have gotten much more restrictive since the crash of home prices. Banks don’t want to get stuck with any more foreclosed home than they already have, so they’re being very careful who they give a mortgage to. One way to find foreclosed homes is to do a free foreclosures search on the website Freeforeclosureblog.com! They have listing of Real Estate Owned Foreclosures and real estate auctions in whatever state you may be interested in.

For more information about Free REO foreclosures, please visit Freeforeclosureblog.com. This post is brought to you by their website. They offer the search completely free.

Peace, Love, Smile, Justice

Some pictures taken a few days ago. My apartment is a mess, I need more organization skills or maybe I need to stop blogging for awhile. RC's dress is ordered from Zulily.

RC wanted me to put my bunny ears on too. See, it's not just me who wants matching outfits.

Here's where I got the title of this blog post.

Weekend is coming! What are your plans? I think I am starting to get over my cough, finally! Yesterday, I even went with my neighbor/ friend to try a different playground by the school. RC enjoyed it except it was too hot going  home. I felt the sun directly pricking my skin but I can't hide it because I was pushing the stroller and I was wearing shorts and flip flops. Next time, I know better.

Upromise Dreams

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPromise for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As parents, we all want our kids to have that perfect life. That is what I want for RC, for her to always be happy, free from sickness, free from bitterness, to have the right friends, to finish her studies, and for myself and my husband to always be here to support her.  Unfortunately, we know that perfect lives do not exist. Given the shortcomings that may come along the way, I want RC to be able to be positive in life, to have moderate problems, to be strong.

Upromise is celebrating their 10thanniversary and they are celebrating it BIG by having a giveaway. They are giving away $20,000 to parents who share their story about supporting a child’s dream. $1,000 will be given to 10 participants and the grand prize winner will receive $10,000.  I encourage parents to view the www.upromisetodream.com and be welcome to join this program for a chance to win. You can also view what other parents are wishing for their kids when they turn to be adults or about their life in general.  The wishes put a smile on my face while reading the wishes and I hope they all come true.  If you are not parents, you can still participate by voting on your favorite stories by “liking” them.

Please also take a look at the dream wall official rules for a more thorough explanation about the contest.  Again, you can submit your story and

Garden Arbors

Have you ever been to a wedding where the bride and groom were married under a garden arbor full of beautiful flowers? I think outdoor weddings are very romantic and you can enjoy nature while watching the lucky couple say their vows. Arbors come in a wide variety of styles and choice of materials. There are arbors made of various materials such as natural wood, along with others made of metal and vinyl. I like wooden arbors the best because I think they look more natural and fit in better in an outdoor setting. You might prefer vinyl because it will last forever even outdoors in all weather conditions.

You can go to yardarbors.com to check out their great selection of arbors and arbor accessories, and other items like trellises, gazebos, and pergolas. I plan someday to build a gazebo in our yard where we can have meals and watch the sun set. Their website appears to have great prices and they have an 800-number to call where you can talk to a live customer service agent. So, whether you’re planning an upcoming perfect wedding, or a great new addition to your back yard or garden, give their website a look.

From Car Seat to Toddler Reclined Chair

I took this out of the closet so we can get rid of it but RC decided she does not want to let go of it yet and she's using it now to watch TV in the living room. With her potty chair, her feet can also be up high. She's very creative.

Happy Midweek everyone!

New Violet's Grill

Some pictures of us yesterday at New Violet's Grill. We purchased a coupon online and it was one of the only two choices. It was my first time there and it looks like a run down restaurant with outdated seating. It was not what I expected. However, the food is great especially the one at the last picture, with the coupon, the price is right too. We had a good deal. I ordered the miso soup because I'm still coughing and still having some sore throat.

RC was sleeping while we were eating. Whenever I put her head down at first she would wake up but I finally was able to make her lay down on the chair and so I was able to eat.

Hand Dryer Source

I remember when RC was a baby I took her to a public restroom and she was very scared of the sound of hand dyer. Have you ever been inside a restroom at the airport and noticed the great high technology restroom hand dryers on the wall? Sometimes they’re so complicated you have to think a little before you can determine how to use them. They mostly are blowers of air focused on your hands so your hands are dried without the use of paper towels, or those old fashioned towels that were on a roller, which were probably full of germs. Today hand dryers come in a myriad of shapes and sizes, but in the world of commercial hand dryers, almost all are either electric hand dryers that blow warm air, or the more common type air hand dryer which blows room temperature air over your hands to dry them. If you’re looking for a hand dryer for your home or in a commercial setting, try checking out

Handdryersource.com. It is a great website to find a wonderful selection of Xlerator hand dryers or Dyson hand dryers, along with other models. I wish I could have one of these great looking hand dryers in my bathrooms so I didn’t have to wash towels so often, or worry about germs getting on my hands while drying them

On Life and Insurance

As we age, or as our family grows, the need for life insurance can become readily apparent. Do you have life insurance? I would admit that we currently don’t have any but we are planning to get one. Especially for us parents, we always want to secure the future of our children. Also, as our income grows while we work more years in our career field of choice, there is the need to replace that income if something unforeseen happens to the income source.

Life insurance isn’t some we like to talk about, but it has to be part of a financial plan. It should be a priority just like deciding how to invest your retirement funds or how to afford your child’s college tuition. Again, this is something I always hear from the experts like Suze Orman. There are various types of permanent life insurance; some are whole life and term. Whole life insurance earns a return, but normally the payout is lower. When requesting quotes for life insurance, remember that term life insurance pays no interest, but the payout is usually higher.

What are you thoughts about this especially for those who have this type of insurance?

My Baby Presents (over two years ago)

I’ve been thinking if I am going to apply for work at home jobs online but I realized that there are just so much interruptions at home that I’m not able to concentrate. I keep browsing the internet usually for cute things like baby animal hats and customized baby blankets. RC is a big girl now and I am still very fascinated at looking at baby items. When I go to the mall, at the clothing section, I still notice those super cute outfits when I pass by. I mentioned that I went to Ross two weeks ago and I still looked at the infant clothing. Just today, I searched about the history of baby showers.

Here's a picture of me with some gifts that I received when I was pregnant.

Probably when RC is a school girl, I would still want to stay home. I want to be able to attend those parents and teachers meetings. I don’t want to be tired when RC goes home from school. I still want to be able to do things that I want to do like crafting (and blogging!). Working has been a good experience but I guess my priority now is more on how will I be a better mom. But in the future, if our finances are not sufficient, I would be back to the workforce, whichever is best for the family.

Superb.Net Website Review

There are many small and medium sized businesses that have a requirement to store large amounts of data, whether it is a database of buyers, or software needed to run the business. All of that takes a large amount of data store and sometimes even dedicated servers. The expense of necessary computer equipment can be quite high and detrimental to the success of the company. There are companies which do managed hosting of servers for you, so it frees you up to manage your company more efficiently and for less cost. They also offer colocation, which is when your servers are placed in a secure and temperature controlled environment away from your property. This provides for physical security and they can also guarantee an uptime rate so you don’t have to worry about the loss of internet service at your place of business or home.

Superb.net is a business that offers services for dedicated servers, managed hosting, or colocation. If you’re a small or medium sized company who wants to take control of your technology costs, or if you’re starting up a business and want to let someone else plan your technology requirements and guide you along the way, you can give them a try.

Breakfast Time

Good morning everyone! I just woke up about thirty minutes ago and here I am blogging already. Anyway, here is an experimental breakfast I made yesterday. It wasn't bad, I think it's because I like what the ingredients that I mixed up. It was very easy, just onions, potatoes, spam, mushroom and one egg. I gave RC some of this but all she ate was the spam. Today, it's time for breakfast again. What did you have? I wonder what I will making this morning. It’s not time to experiment because I have more person that will have to approve my cooking.

I guess we will have ham, bacon and eggs, the usual breakfast that we have on the weekends. Does that sound like a low carb breakfast? Probably not. I have to be more organized with preparing meals, it’s one of my goals but so far, I just pick anything that it in the pantry or the refrigerator. It is better if I schedule what we eat so we wouldn’t be eating the same dishes and I won’t be tempted to go to the nearby restaurant. I’ve been taking some pictures of what I have been eating lately, maybe I will share that in another blog post.

Have a Happy Saturday!

My Favorite Bag Has Arrived (Bags of Love Review)

I don't need to explain why this is my favorite. I am so pleased with this bag when I received it. I was not expecting it to come today because I just received the email three days ago that it printed and shipped. Shipping is really fast but that's probably because they use FedEx, I even have to have to put my signature saying that I received it. I love the glossy back but of course, the best feature of this is RC's smiling face infront. I chose this picture because it's very RC. She is always happy to go to the park, and it is one of her recent pictures. I also like the colorful background in the picture. It is beautifully made and I can tell it has great quality. I hope to keep this bag till RC gets old. In the future, it will always remind me of my RC when she was two years old.

You can view more personalized items and custom canvas at BagsofLove.Co.UK. Their items are great for gift giving.

Thank you very much Bags of Love!

Disclosure: I received a shopper bag in exchange for a review, no monetary compensation was received.

YMX by Yellowman Review and Giveaway, $89 worth Ends 9/3 (CLOSED)

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

 REVIEW:

This shirt looks great, the pictures do not do it justice. If you want to try something fun and versatile for a top, this shirt is for you. I like how it feels and I can use it almost anywhere. I used it when I went shopping, the first time I went to the gym, going to the park, walking etc. I think I would even try this one time when I go swimming. It’s also SPF 50. A shirt with SPF, pretty cool! I’ll have a lot of uses with this shirt and I want to have another one.

When I applied to try this shirt, I was just curious as why it costs $89. I also loved how it looks. I felt that I looked good while exercising. It is more than the graphics and colors on the shirt, I read more about it and the YMX description says it better so I took some photos.

IF you visit the YMX website, or like them in Facebook, you’ll find a lot of other designs that you can choose from.

Fast Forward Academy Website Review

September is just around the corner. Before we know it, it will be time to file our taxes again. We dread April 15th each year because it is the deadline for filing income taxes each year. Have you filed your taxes yet? We make sure that we file it on time to avoid paying some fees and interest if you owe taxes. Have you noticed the bottom of the form where you sign your name and it asks who prepared the form? There are certified people who work as enrolled agent. An Enrolled Agent (EA) is an authorized tax practitioner who has expertise in taxation and who is approved by the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for audits, collections, and appeals.

There are companies that provide enrolled agent continuing education. There are enrolled Agent continuing education requirements which are tracked by the IRS to ensure enrolled agents maintain their knowledge of tax regulations because tax laws change frequently. An enrolled agent’s expertise enables them to effectively represent taxpayers audited by the IRS. I’ve found a website that provides the necessary continuing education, FastForwardAcademy.Com. If you have ever had an interest in the field of tax preparation, make sure you check them out. They offer materials, practice exams, and other materials to make sure you’ll be successful.

I'm no expert when it comes to filing taxes myself. I learned most of this at http://www.fastforwardacademy.com/. This post is brought to you by their website.

Kids and Dentists?

I was reading an article about child’s first dental visit. It seems that at one year, parents should already be taking their kids to the dentist. For the mommies, did you take your kids to the dentist when they were only a year old? RC is over two years old and not even once did we take her to the dentist yet. I just don’t want her to be subjected to pain so early. She is already very worried whenever we take her to a regular doctor. I am old and I am scared of going to the dentist. I just had a deep cleaning done about a month ago and I was in pain for days. Honestly, I don’t go as often as I should.

I think I will start taking RC to a family dentist when she is three years old. She may still not be prepared by then but at least I would feel better knowing that I did my research. In doing that, the experience may still not be pleasant but I know it will be better than just taking her to any dentist.
Smilegeneration.com is an online tool that lets you find a dentist, request an appointment, view reviews and save by printing dental coupons if it is available in your area.
You can share your experience with me about your child's first dental visit. Do you think I should take her before she is three years old?

This post is sponsored by SmileGeneration.Com. Thank you for letting me know about your website.

The Queen and Princess of the Park

Here's our every afternoon routine, going to the park. It's not just play time for RC but also some mommy time for me to talk to other moms at the park. I also like looking at cute babies still learning to walk, it brings memories when RC was still a baby.

RC wanted to try my lipstick, I put the same lipstick on my lips but RC looked like she had a more tinted lips probably because of her complexion. These first two pictures turned to be nice ones because of the sun shining at the background.

Here comes more of the queen and princess at the park. I'm glad that this park is very close to where we live. I consider it as an extention of our apartment because we use it almost everyday.

I am saddened that some people try to destroy something nice and put graffiti writings on the slides. A few months ago, there were even inappropriate drawings that other parents would not let their kids slide. It was awkward seeing it with all the kids and other parents at the park seeing it too. I'm glad those explicit drawings are gone.

This next picture shows my "mommy shape". I wasn't suppose to put it here in my blog but I did,  I am a proud mommy anyway.

Btw, the dress I am wearing is $10 from Ross and RC's Dora shirt is $6 with shorts.

Crew Blog HopPhotobucketI have a tip for mommies who take their kids to the park and let them slide, it is better if you make them wear cotton leggings. If they are in their shorts, their skin is touching the slide and provides more friction. I try not to take shoulder bags too, I usually take this little "bag" as you can see in the picture and it's just enough for me to bring the camera, my phone and my keys.

We're heading to the park in another hour. I hope all is well with you. Happy Midweek!
