Here's our every afternoon routine, going to the park. It's not just play time for RC but also some mommy time for me to talk to other moms at the park. I also like looking at cute babies still learning to walk, it brings memories when RC was still a baby.
RC wanted to try my lipstick, I put the same lipstick on my lips but RC looked like she had a more tinted lips probably because of her complexion. These first two pictures turned to be nice ones because of the sun shining at the background.
Here comes more of the queen and princess at the park. I'm glad that this park is very close to where we live. I consider it as an extention of our apartment because we use it almost everyday.
I am saddened that some people try to destroy something nice and put graffiti writings on the slides. A few months ago, there were even inappropriate drawings that other parents would not let their kids slide. It was awkward seeing it with all the kids and other parents at the park seeing it too. I'm glad those explicit drawings are gone.
This next picture shows my "mommy shape". I wasn't suppose to put it here in my blog but I did, I am a proud mommy anyway.
Btw, the dress I am wearing is $10 from Ross and RC's Dora shirt is $6 with shorts.
I have a tip for mommies who take their kids to the park and let them slide, it is better if you make them wear cotton leggings. If they are in their shorts, their skin is touching the slide and provides more friction. I try not to take shoulder bags too, I usually take this little "bag" as you can see in the picture and it's just enough for me to bring the camera, my phone and my keys.
We're heading to the park in another hour. I hope all is well with you. Happy Midweek!

Looks like you both had fun! We still have to schedule our park date.
I know what you mean about kids vandalizing and ruining playground equipment. In a couple of the neighborhoods I've lived in, older kids have ruined picnic tables and chairs and detached swings from swingsets. I wish they would show some respect for public property. As far as Mommy shape, I'm right there with you!
Hi, welcome to Foto Friday! I'm happy you have joined us.

Sounds like a lovely way to spend the afternoon! The light in the first two is so pretty.
What a beautiful day at the park! I think it's great that it is so close to your home but truly sad it got vandalized. How sad! At least it's gone. I am a new follower, so I am sure I will be back. Thanks for sharing your day!

Hi. New follower from Foto Friday link party. Love all your pictures! Taking my kids to the park is one our favorite things to do too. Can't believe you go that dress at Ross for $10, haha! Great buy!
How lucky you are to have a nice park that is just a short walk away. It is a pity about the graffiti. :(
You and your daughter are a lovely pair!
I'm stopping by from the TOS blog hop with a hello and a GFC follow.

Thanks for linking up to the Field trip hop. So glad the city cleaned up the graffiti on the park slides. We have teeenages to love to destroy a park near us, almost every year. :( Such a pain as the council has to repair it and it ups our park fees every year or so. Thanks for following and I am following back:)
Absolutely adorable! :) Love your blog & I look forward to reading more. Following from the TOS blog hop & your newest GFC follower. :)

Love the pictures. It is sad when people think they can destroy parks like that.

It looks like you had a great day!
Visiting and following from the TOS hop. I miss the days when my kids still enjoyed the park. My two oldest have outgrown it. :( Love the lipstick picture! She's too cute!
It's great that you can just go outside and have that right there!
Looks like a lovely time for you and your daughter. Our park days are numbered up here in Alaska as the weather gets cooler.
As for mommy figures, I'm slowly getting comfortable with mine. Four pregnancies carried to term do a number on you.
Happy to stop by via the TOS Blog Cruise.
