What Do You Do When You Have A Computer Virus?

All of us have computers, either desktops or laptops, and some of us are using tablets now because they’re so small and portable. But the problem most of us have, especially if we’re using the Windows Operating System, is that we live in constant fear of virus attacks, spyware, malware, and the dreaded blue screen of death (BSOD). We’re scared of those things because they can make our computers crash, run really slow, or take us to internet websites we didn’t even want to visit. It’s like someone has taken over our computer and we have no control over what happens.

There are several options for these types of problems. One is that you can just ignore the problem and live with constant restarts and your computer running slow, but that normally leads to you taking your computer to someone and having them fix it, or erasing your computer and starting over again. The second option is to buy virus removal software, which will find viruses and remove them from your computer. The problem is that they can be expensive and hard to keep updated.

The third option is to use an online service that takes care of all these problems for you. One that just started recently is KillSlow. They offer services that will find and delete viruses, clean out temp files that make your computer run slow, and they will do periodic updates and scans of your computer. I personally have not tried their service yet and I think they are still developing their website. However, it seems one of the great options if your computer is running slow and you constantly have to reboot or wipe your hard drive and start over again.

What do you do about your computer viruses?

This post is brought you by KillSlow.
