Hair Cutting Session

First I cut RC's hair in the bathroom and then in the living room which we spend most of our time during the day.

My face is getting rounder. I need to do Zumba more than once a week. Her dress is made by me from her dad's shirt and I used a collar from one of her baby dresses she can no longer wear. I'll probably blog about it later.

Yesterday after I cut RC's hair, I thought maybe I should have left it the way it was or maybe I should have made her go to a kid's salon. Today, her hair looks better.

We're both wearing stripes with leopard print. I think RC likes her new hair. The shorter, the easier to manage and not too many tangles.

We chopped my hair off today. I forced my husband to do it. It's not perfect but it's okay. We saved on gas, at least $50 and at least 3 hours of time and we had fun. Yes, the whole family had a hair cutting session at different days within the week. Today was my hair's turn. I'm donating it to Locks of Love. It's my third time to do it.  I hope I can send my hair this week and maybe next time we can also donate RC's hair but I doubt that I'm going to let her hair grow by 10 inches before we cut it again. 10 inches is a lot of hair, some people ask me why I grow my hair long and then just chop it off really short. It's  because Locks of Love will only accept at least 10 inches to be donated as their website says.

Have a great week ahead. Thanks for all the visits. Each visit here counts.

P.S. I hope you did not notice that I have a stye on my left eye. It's healing now.

Did anybody else try the "home cutting session"?

Hello! Thanks for visiting Finger Click Saver via the Alexa Hop. I have to tell you, my daughter's hair was on the longer side when she was small but she detested anyone brushing it! Well...I decided to cut it and it was the best decision I could have made. There was no more fighting to get the hair brushed..it looked much neater and it was easier to wash! Make it a great week!

I cut both of my boys hair and it's a traumatic experience every time. I used to cut hair professionally and I was never prepared for my kids. Hopefully when they get older it will be fun! BTW I didn't notice the stye.

I think her hair looks adorable. Though I don't believe in cutting mine or my daughters' hair for religious reasons, there have been times I have thought about donating to Locks of Love. I think it is a great cause. Good for you.
I love her dress too.
I found your blog through the twitter hop, I am now following your blog and your twitter.

I always cut my daughter's hair at home. This way I know it is done the way I want it done and not the way another person sees it. Plus it adds some mother-daughter time into our week. I just cut her hair last night. It turned out great. Once she gets home from school I'm also taking her to do her pictures. Which I also do myself.

No, I'm afraid to cut my daughter's hair. I might get uneven results and my daughter will not like it. We go to salon for that.

By the way, your daughter is so cute with her new haircut!!! You did a great job!!!
