Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

One of my favorite recipes that I make lately. This is the fourth time I made this. I was inspired to make this when we went to Red Lobster and Ruth's Chris and we ordered this. You can be creative with stuffing your mushroom. First I did the vegetarian version without meat, only the mushroom stems, then again with ground pork but I'll show you how I made this particular recipe with shredded imitation crab meat.

You'll have to remove the stems and put the mushrooms on the side.

I like to make my life simple by buying these "ready to use" type of food. Instead of me shredding, they are already shredded.

There were some ingredients that I was not able to take pictures of.

Chop the onions and mushroom stems in small pieces, mix them with the shredded cheese and shredded crab meat and add cream cheese. You can also use sour cream. Mix them all together and then you'll be ready to stuff your mushrooms!

This is how it looks like uncooked. I did not put any oil at the bottom of the pan because I'm using a non-stick.  Place it in the oven for approximately 20-30 minutes. I have a super old oven so I check them if they are cooked.

There you go, remove them from the oven and they're ready. If you use ground pork or beef, you will have to cook them first but the crab meat are super easy to make because you don't have to use the stove, just the oven.

P.S.

These looks yummy! Will try to do this recipe, Ces! I tried preparing stuffed mushroom last January on NY eve but I think I used chopped jamon serrano with vegetables.
