Sight Seeing

Here are more pictures from the Hawaiian Railway Society and the views we had from the train ride. I enjoyed the sight seeing. The first three pictures are from the original train that they used before but they did not restore it as you can see, they are so torn.

It is really good to live in an island with tropical climate. It does not rain very hard here, the weather is perfect. I don't get to freeze and it does not get too hot, comparing it in the Philippines where I sweat just by walking at the streets. Even so, I'm thinking of going to the Philippines this year.

Yesterday, the weather was nasty with some thunderstorm but it that is pretty unusual  here.

Who loves Costco? I do but I let my card expire. Aside from the good deal you will find there, you get free taste of a lot of food. I like that kind of marketing because I like trying new food and I get to actually try them before I buy.

The ocean always looks clean and clear, I like looking at the blue waters.

The resort below is owned by Disney. I can't wait to go there when it opens to the public. It does not have the usual Disney stuff aside from having Mickey Mouse but they are building it BIG and currently they are hiring a lot of local people. I read that it will be more Hawaiian themed than Disney. I wish they will open even just a small Disneyland here.

We passed by a lot of places, resorts, golf courses, industrial sites, developing subdivisions etc. It was good because it was a new experience for all of us. RC was kind of tired, she took a nap while on the train but she did enjoy most of it especially when the train says "choo! choo!", she was giggling.

Hawaii oh Hawaii! When can I ever visit you? Lol. As always, those are lovely and great captures you shared, sis! Our family friend here in Wisconsin are currently in Hawaii for the daughter's wedding. We were actually invited but nope, time and budget didn't permit us! :)

Like you, we long to visit Philippines, too. There's no place like home talaga kasi! :)

I have several GREEN SCENES which I've captured while in motion. I hope you can visit me at my page! :)
