Mom Daughter Necklace

 Technically, they are brooch because I pinned them instead of putting ribbons to make them necklaces. I did not realize how bright they were until I saw the pictures.

RC's necklace. I also love the print of her dress. I bought it last year so she could wear it for July 4th this year but when I saw it in the closet, I thought she can wear it before we went to a Thai restaurant.

Here's mine, I did not know how to match it with my clothes and I thought about this dress with pink tulle fabric. It was only the second time that I wore it and both are posted here in my blog.

 

Don't we just look happy together? Excuse the dirty surroundings, these were taken at a parking lot and it was just the best place to take a picture at that time. Our photographer is always shy to take pictures when there's many people around.

Here's the food that we had--sticky, rice, sauteed seafood with cashews, stuffed crispy chicken wings and sweet and sour fish fillet (no picture taken). I like the packaging of the sticky rice, it stays warm that way.

It was great and affordable. I can't tell which one I like the most because they are all good.

Adirondack

We were suppose to go to a picnic today but we decided this morning that me and RC will try to go to the pool again. It feels like we did some picnic too because just outside the pool, there were picnic tables and park benches. I was not able to take pictures. RC enjoyed it a lot, she was scared at first. I hope I can keep taking her. She is one outgoing little girl, she is always happy to go out either to a picnic or to a swimming pool.

Since I don’t have pictures to share for now, These cute Adirondack chairs, they’re perfect for RC.

It's May!

Can you believe it’s already May? This year is flying by so quickly, I’ve always said that in the past year too. It’s been a good year up to this point. RC’s vocabulary and social skills are really improving. Another great thing that happened this year is that we got our biggest tax refund ever. It surely helped, we’re pretty happy about that. We continued to use an online tax service, as we have for the past four years. It’s very convenient, it does not consume a lot of time and you don’t have to pay a lot because you enter the information yourself. I just learned that you can complete an IRS Extension Form 2009 to get an extension to file your taxes. I thought you will get in some kind of trouble in you did not file your taxes on time. For those of you that haven’t filed taxes yet, it is still not too late.
