Last March, I had my hair straightened. It was kind of expensive but I did it anyway so I won’t need to always tie it at the back.  Because I have thick hair, it can take time to use the iron.

I like that it is narrow so it is easy to handle. I’ve have been thinking of getting a new water filter for months now. We used to have one but it’s a little smaller than what I wanted to have so I did not replace the filters.  We buy bottled water which can take a lot of space in the refrigerator. It can also be expensive to buy bottled water and since we recycle, there’s the hassle of saving all the bottles till we take them to the recycling center. I got this ZeroWater  10-cup water filter last Friday afternoon and I was excited to use it. We’ve been using it for about three days now and I love the design of it. It has a pull-and-pour spout so I can just  press the button to get water. It can easily fit in our refrigerator. I think the best feature of the ZeroWater aside from its filter capabilities it the laboratory grade TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter to test the water.

We were told that the tap water here is safe to drink but I still wanted to be on the safer side especially for RC. I also like the taste of the bottled water better than the tap water. Our tap water reads 200 using the meter.  You can use ZeroWater.Com to look for the TDS Score  of your tap water, just enter your zip code. You can leave a comment so we can compare.  Using the website, mine reads 184.  

After we place the water into the ZeroWater pitcher, it reads 000. The taste of water is also better after filtering with ZeroWater.

My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software Review and Giveaway 3/4

I thought about scrapbooking a few years ago but I found out that the materials that will make a scrapbook look nice will cost me a lot, not just time but money. If you go to a scrapbook store, you can easily spend twenty to thirty dollars to design one scrapbook. My computer failed me at first. I was unable to download the software from their site. My Memories resolved my issue right away by sending me their disc. My memories suite is a perfect software program for scrapbooking and making videos with your pictures. You can place texts and a theme to your pictures with tons of designs to choose from and as easy as few clicks to make a scrapbook page, an invitation, etc.

This is what I made when I first tried the My Memories digital scrapbooking software. I just used one picture to show some of the designs that they have. You can place more than one picture on a page. I'll have a lot of use from this software.

It’s easy to navigate and it’s definitely cheaper than buying scrapbooking materials from a craft store. You may want to print the design you created or you can just leave it on your computer so it will be easily available for you.

I’m one of those who have to continuously have to shave my legs and underarm. I don’t like to admit it, but I’m a hairy person and I haveto deal with it. I know a lot of other women are like me.
