Butt Paste

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

RC has a sensitive skin. She was born with baby acne and she kept getting rashes. I had to try a milder baby soap, change diaper brands, and use a baby detergent soap.  At one point, we even had to change the formula she was drinking.  She had soft cries when she was a newborn and I still remember the first time she cried screaming loud was because of a diaper rash. It was heartbreaking to hear. I tried different brands, but they seem to just lessen the rash, then a butt paste came to the rescue.

If you have a baby that keeps on getting those unwanted rashes, you may want to check and get a Boudreaux's Butt Paste at your local drugstore or grocery store. You can also purchase it online. It comes in variety of sizes, even a handy travel size. It also comes in tubes which I prefer for sanitary reasons instead of dipping my finger in the container more than once.  This product is not only good with diaper rashes but it can also soothe an irritated skin. If you are not convinced with just reading the great reviews online, you can go to their website for instructions on how to get a free sample.
Additional information:

Boudreaux's Butt Paste was featured on Oprah Show, Tonight Show, ESPN, While You Were Out (TLC) and People Magazine so more and more mommies are using it. It was formulated by a pharmacist with the help from a respected pediatrician to provide proper diaper rash care.

Coin collection

My husband collects silver coins and proof sets. They are a good collection because it is easy to sell or trade them. There has been a few times when we were short in paying some bills and his coin collection helped us during those tough times. It would be great if he also has a gold collection of coins but he only has one. It has the highest value of all his coin collection and we plan to keep it since the price of gold is high and it is rare. We hope that the value keeps on going up.

I see a lot of TV commercials, newspaper ads that talk about gold prices. I wonder if this is really driven by supply and demand. I would agree though that gold is a great gift to pass on to generations. Over the years since the gold price is going up, it is proven to be a good investment.

I don't have a coin collection of silver or gold but here is my real treasure, more than gold, more than platinum.

Thanks for the comments from my last post.

Give a call

It's been a long time since I called the Philippines. I’m thinking about using a tollfreeforwarding service. My phone does not allow me to dial directly which I prefer because the last time I was allowed to do that, I did made calls that made my phone bill soar really high.

For those Filipinos abroad reading this, how are you able to call the country? I would appreciate any insight. While now, I am busy with RC and with my blog, I really miss those talks that I had before with some close relatives.

I know some use prepaid toll free forwarding or international call forwarding services. I'm looking at Namada.com that provides these services. Their rate to call the Philippines is 8.80 cents to 11.70 cents per minute which is not bad comparing it to my local provider. I can use it with my existing provider and balances expire in one year.

Speaking of Philippines, here are some pictures of us last August  that I have not shared yet.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Boston

I was reading about how little percentage of Americans have passports (30%) and one of the reasons is because in the United States, there is a huge amount of places to travel, almost an entire continent. I would have to agree, each state has something to offer, some are touristy than others. But if I am given the chance, I would travel the whole USA and the whole world. I’m a traveler by heart and in the meantime, I just have to imagine and dream.

I would love to go to the East Coast and see a lot of states since the states there are smaller therefore; the distance for travelling between states will be less. A lot of blogs feature New York City, so I would feature Massachusetts here particularly Boston. Bushari Group Real Estate features Boston Lofts and Boston Condos, the buildings look luxurious. I’ve never been to Boston but I have seen a lot of it in pictures and I think it is beautiful there.

I'm still slacking about taking pictures lately. Hope everything is well with you all!

Superbowl

It's Superbowl today and the weather is kind of nasty, it has been raining since early morning. RC has a cold so we decided to just stay home and not go to a game day party or to a restaurant with a big screen TV. Maybe we can just try to have a party here at home. What is your favorite team? Honestly, I don't care much about football. I love the funny commercials though. I know some people are crazy about it, for me, it is just fun to hear the screaming and there’s an instant connection between individuals when they attend a place to watch the big game. I think it’s a good way to make friends too.

If you are a sports fanatic, you can go to acheapseat.com to buy cheap tickets to watch your favorite game live. You can purchase Miami Heat Tickets, Boston Red Sox Tickets, Philadelphia 76ers Tickets, New York Knicks Tickets, New Jersey Nets Tickets and many more.

RC at a party

Some pictures of RC at the birthday party we attended last month. My husband did not go with us so I did not have pictures as I was the one taking pictures of RC.

All the other children were listening to the clown but RC was making her own show by standing while everybody is sitting down.

We have to plan for the future even if we are not parents. But after I had RC, I see the future in a whole different way. It's a great responsibility to be a mother because I'm thinking more about her future than my own. I want to be a good mom and a good provider so sometimes I see myself torn between wanting to say home with her or continue working so we will be financially secure. Right now, it is getting easier to go to work and I feel less guilty because she likes going to the preschool. She learned more words and I think it is very important for her to have a social life that I probably cannot provide if I just stay home with her. It will just be me and her most of the time. I even find myself reading firsttrade.com about online trading and stock trading. I also watch financial shows recently like Suze Orman show and Clark Howard. They both talk about IRA accounts, retirement and sort of things like that. As parents we always want the best for our kids, I am hoping for a great life ahead of RC.

We love Tabasco!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

The 45th annual Super Bowl, the most anticipated sporting event in the United States, is just around the corner.  We're not lucky enough to be attending the big game but we'll be rooting for our favorite team, and our families are certifiable TABASCO® Original Red fans too. My husband loves football, and can't wait for Super Bowl time every year.  We both like the game day party food.  Pizza is always served, and everyone demands TABASCO® Original Red on hand to spice up those tasty triangles of delicious goodness piled high with ingredients like pepperoni, mushrooms and Canadian bacon.

TABASCO® Original Red is one of the most common condiments I see at restaurants, and I even see it at our local Korean restaurant, and I like it on my favorite Korean food called bibimbap. It also works so well with Mexican food which is supposed to be spicy. By the way, Tabasco is so much more than hot, it adds flavor to the dish.  It'll spice up and enhance flavor on most of your favorite foods.  You can even put TABASCO® Original Red sauce on your omelets and scrambled eggs.
You may want to check the Game-Day Party Menu for more easy recipes.  If you are a pizza lover like me, you may also want to check out Pizza Perfected portion of the site for a variety of ideas to spice up your pizza
